In addition to SGS, there are other equine groups throughout the country working to help decrease the number of unwanted
foals through the use of castration programs. Some offer free services to qualified applicants while others offer low
cost clinics. Also, check with your local college's vet school - some may offer low-cost gelding clinics from time
to time.
